What Happens During a Home Energy Audit?
In about 3 hours, our Energy Rater can inspect your home to identify things that you can do to improve your home's energy efficiency. Our detailed report provides Thermal Images of your home to precisely pinpoint air leaks and identify areas needing upgraded insulation.
As part of the Home Energy Audit, Eco-Wise Living:
- uses the latest in performance testing equipment and evaluation software
- assesses your home against national energy efficiency standards
- recommends specific changes and improvements (many of which are surprisingly simple!)
- estimates the savings that could result from those recommended changes using real data from your utility company
