Home Energy Audit
A Home Energy Audit consists of an onsite inspection of your home by an Energy Rater covering insulation, windows and doors, lighting, water conservation, and indoor air quality. Using a blower door to create optimal assessment conditions, we inspect your home with an infrared camera to locate air leakage in the walls, floors, ceilings, basement, and around doors and windows. You will receive a detailed report of findings, with digital Thermal Images, and recommendations on things that you can do to make your home more energy efficient.

Certified Home Energy Rating
A Home Energy Rating for new construction or applications for Energy Improvement Mortgages consists of an onsite inspection of your home by an independent, certified HERS Rater to determine insulation levels, window efficiency, wall-to-window ratios, heating and cooling system efficiency, solar orientation, and water heating system. Includes Performance Testing to measure the amount of air infiltration and duct leakage in your home. You will receive a detailed report of findings, which includes the HERS Index rating your home earned.

Home Performance Audits
Eco-Wise Living has partnered with Accent Remodeling to offer you a complete home performance improvement program. During our visit to your home, our certified Green Rater will do a Home Performance Audit using a detailed checklist, blower door and infrared camera to identify the major comfort, health and safety and energy efficiency issues in your home, and review with you the recommended improvements. Accent Remodeling's owner and principle designer will give you guidance on how to do those things you wish to do yourself, and estimate the cost of improvements for which you prefer to engage a licensed contractor.
